Angela S. Holt

A Message from our CEO

 Angela S. Holt

Middle Flint Health and Wellness, formerly known as Middle Flint Behavioral Healthcare has a fifty-year history of providing person-centered service to our community.  We've worked considerably to provide quality services to an eleven-county area that includes Crawford, Crisp, Dooly, Houston, Macon, Marion, Peach, Schley, Sumter, Taylor, and Webster Counties. Middle Flint Health and Wellness has made significant strides throughout its history and continues to serve as a leader in behavioral health and developmental disabilities while facing financial constraints, workforce shortages, and stigma surrounding behavioral health services.  As a community-based provider, we look forward to our continued partnership with the state in the provision of 'safety net' services to those most in need, while continuing to diversify the services provided.  The future promises to be one of continued change with new opportunities as we focus on making Our Community, Our Priority!

Middle Flint Health & Wellness is one of Georgia's 22 Community Service Boards serving 11 counties.  In many Georgia Counties, the Community Service Board is the only public mental health and substance use, treatment provider.  Each year, CSBs in Georgia serve more than 29,000 children and adolescents, 144,000 adults with mental health problems or substance use, and more than 5,000 adults with disabilities.

'The CSB is ME' campaign is being coordinated by the Georgia Association of Community Service Boards (GACSB), a statewide association that supports the state's CSBs through policy and legislative advocacy on both state and national levels.

Thank You To Our Community Partners!
